Funny Looking Cat

Konnichiwa sweet friends!

What an amazing Spring day - we've had an even balance of warm sunshine and rolling thunder storms (even a brief tornado warning in central Alberta)!

I had today off work, so when he got home from his morning shift, Rob & I went together to a big indoor yard sale and got some books and music, after we enjoyed a Chinese food buffet for lunch. Then we went for iced coffees before coming home and getting ready for our own yard sale tomorrow morning (our condo building is hosting a huge one). I just love how the evenings and weekends are so long this time of year, and we can squeeze so much into them 😎

So yesterday there was no post and that's okay, because it's being share with you today. I took an older pair of fuzzy socks, and after watching Pusheen plushie tutorials, tried to make my own.

For a little extra fun, I stopped to ask Instagram followers if they could guess what I might be making yesterday...

Hahaha it looks so silly, but that is okay because it's just part of the fun! It is no Pusheen, but still very fun to make in her own right! If you are wondering, she is stuffed with Kleenex facial tissues.

So the above cat was for June 1 (which is also my mother-in-law's birthday, just FYI. She is so awesome and I'm so lucky Rob is her son).

And June 2's #Kawaii365 project was a little easier. It's nail polish painted onto a tiny canvas, and it spells out 'Kawaii' in Japanese Kanji, much like the Old Navy tank top I upgraded a few days ago.

And there is a bigger project surrounding the tiny canvases I've been sharing. Stay tuned until July 10 to find out what!

And today is also Feature Friday again! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Though I admit this group needs no introduction whatsoever, some people who are reading this blog may be newer to the kawaii/K-pop/J-fashion/Weeaboo lifestyle, so it is a pleasure to share with you...

GiraGira Romantic!

The kawaii header of Miss Rainbow's blog

Run by Mira from a mysterious part of the world (not actively mentioned). Most of her posts are from 2015, though she is working on updating her blog soon (as she mentioned in March of this year). Life gets busy.

She likes to go by 'Miss Rainbow' for the most part (◠‿◠)

The blog is not entirely in English and that's okay, since Google has tools to translate. One of the first things you'll notice is her love of Rilakkuma. And like me, she adores Hello Kitty!

The above is a great blog to get your cute on!

This is also the song of a boy band from Japan, called Lead. They are known for hip-hop/disco beats.

Thank you for stopping by to read!

Remember, sharing is caring (and if you help this blog get famous, it won't go unrewarded).
