Hello everyone, today is July 6, and now there are only 4 days left of this year-long #Kawaii365 art project. And today, to celebrate (and splurge a little before it's too late), Rob & I decided to design a DQ cake online and pick it up.
This sounds silly, but when I went into the Dairy Queen with my order number, it was such a beautiful moment. The lady at the counter asked if it was Pikachu (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
This was so flattering, thank you!
So here are the revealing photos of this deliciously adorable ice cream cake:
Do you notice on the far left of this picture, the top part of the book 'Unstuck'? (It's yellow with a gum-shoe). It's been a very significant part of this project.
The face was 'printed' on an edible sheet of icing/fondant - and the balloons are made of sugar, while the tails are icing.
I specifically requested the red & yellow frosting because they're the colors of mine & Rob's wedding, because we met when I was working at McDonald's back in 2008.
This was by far the most expensive project, costing $29+ but it was worth the splurge to celebrate this project! (✿◠‿◠)
What will the next four projects be?
